The sky was painted in a sort of rain
But I was glad you came
Though I didn’t let you in, cause I saw the summer coming back again
The light diffuse and warm illuminates my brain
So come on, let’s think about it
And try not to think about if it’ll stay the same, or change its name.

The blood on the tracks will lead us back it’s true
It makes no sense when the scent’s on you
It feels so tired trying to become some something new
I feel so tired...

The soil was salted and retained
But I sowed it again
It wasn’t what I had planned, but what’s there to understand or to explain?
When harvesting a broken now, best not to think aloud
Just gather what you are feeling
Imagine that there’s a meal to feast upon, and get you off.

What’s not overwhelming does not stimulate
Hungry when there’s so much left on my plate
The clock keeps running, the heart keeps hunting in its wake
It gets so tired, it feels so tired, it gets so tired, I feel so tired...

It’s not the sky I know, does it weigh, me down or let me go?
I don’t know, celebrate my findings wherever I may go.

The heart was was filled with some kind of cake, that simply would not bake.
